Tin Man and Toby shout out

Here's the second in a series of characters from the Wizard of Oz. Not sure where my schedule will take me, but the Scarecrow will be the next I'll try to tackle.

Also, hello to my good friend, Toby. The man, the myth, the legend. You can't tame the wind. Let's do a better job of keeping in touch my good friend.

I read "Tin Man" at first as "THE Man!" and thought, yes, you are DA MAN, Joe, with your latest award for EIGHT DOGS NAMED JACK. Good going!

I LOVE him! He's got the sweetest expression on his face. Can't wait to see the scarecrow.

And another award??? Congratulations! Your book certainly deserves the attention.

Joe:

I have been reading your blog for a while. You may not remember me, but Mary and Howard Gladue are my parents. In fact, your Mom (your parent's are my godparents) told me about your book. My Mom enjoyed (I should say bragged about) your artwork and after reading your blog, I understand why. You are great. I cannot wait to read your book. Give my regards to Janet and your parents.

Patti,
I definitely remember you, and your mother was one of the funniest people I've ever known! Way before her time. Could've been a Joan Rivers/Phyllis Diller if she'd had the right breaks, I always thought. I was sorry to hear when she passed away. Thanks for the kind words. I'll pass on your hellos. Joe
